S. Michael Lear, Esq., was admitted to practice in 1989. Michael is an experienced criminal and civil attorney and concentrates on large, complex cases. Michael also has significant experience in the areas of OVI (DUI) defense. Michael has tried numerous cases in municipal courts and courts of common pleas. Further, Michael has significant experience in appeals, and has argued appellate cases before the 6th Circuit Federal Court of Appeals, numerous courts of appeal in Ohio, and has argued a case before the Supreme Court of Ohio. Michael has also resolved and/or tried numerous personal injury cases. Michael is a member of the Cleveland Bar Association, the Cuyahoga County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Geauga Bar Association.
